The E1/T1 card (excluding DCH daughterboards) provides the following hardware features:
• a Main Processing Unit (MPU) that includes 8 MB Flash memory and SDRAM of 32 MB
and provides following functions such as:
- initializing and controlling other devices such as FPGA and QuadFALC PCM
interface
- interacting with the Web over an Ethernet connection
- interacting with system software
- providing the interface to Synchronous Static and Dynamic RAM
