Network side connector

3.4.1
The DN912 uses a plug connector (open type), and the DN912 comes with the network side connector on the
right in Figure 3-7.
The connector on the left side of Figure 3-7, which can be purchased separately, has 2 rows (upper and lower
rows) of holes for inserting cables, so that the DN912 can be connected in the middle of a network daisy chain
connection. The connector on the right side of the figure has a single row of holes for inserting cables, like
connecting the DN912 to the end of the network. Use the DN912 depending on where you connect it to the
network.
Connect the DeviceNet cable to DN912 in the following order.
(1) Connect the DeviceNet cable to the network connector and firmly fix it.
(2) Plug the network connector into the device connector on the DN912 front panel.
