4.14 LIFTING AND TIE DOWN

Lifting

1.
Refer to the Machine Serial Number Plate, call JLG Industries,
or weigh the individual unit to find out the Gross Vehicle
Weight.
2.
Place the boom in the stowed position.
3.
Remove all loose items from the machine.
4. Properly adjust the rigging to prevent damage to the
machine and so the machine remains level.

SECTION 4 - MACHINE OPERATION

Tie Down

WHEN TRANSPORTING THE MACHINE, THE BOOM MUST BE FULLY LOWERED INTO
THE BOOM REST.
1. Place the boom in the stowed position.
2. Remove all loose items from the machine.
3. Secure the chassis and the platform using straps or chains of
adequate strength.
