STEP 1 – Import engine-specific settings
On the Setup tab of the Joystick interface, click Import Engine Specific
Settings. A dialog will pop up, click Yes to confirm.
A file selector will open. From the engine(s) listed, choose the one that
matches yours and click Open. Click Yes at the dialog prompts to write and
confirm the imported settings.

STEP 1a – System
Return to the Setup tab. Set the Joystick Instance to either Main or Second.
In most cases you will be doing the setup with the main joystick.

STEP 2 – Set throttle limits
In this step you will configure:
• the maximum throttle percent at which the engines are at idle and
• the maximum throttle percent intended for joystick use.
Perform this step with the boat safely secured, or in an open area.
NOTICE!
If you are having problems getting an engine to idle, or if it is idling
intermittently at different RPMs, confirm that your engine's throttle position
sensor (TPS) is functioning properly.
1. Maximum Throttle at Idle (Forward)
a . Use the control head to put the port engine in forward gear.
b. Very slowly increase throttle until the engine RPM increases.
Note the maximum throttle percentage at which the engine is still
at idle. (The RPM and throttle percentage are displayed in the
boxes as shown in figure B-8).
c. Enter the value in the Port Idle Forward Throttle.
