SMART MATRIX Error Messages
During the normal operation, the SMART MATRIX display will show CONTROL XXXX (where XXXX is the
number of active sensors).
In case of errors or detection failures, the CONTROL XXXX indication will be replaced by a message which
summarizes the type of error or failure occurred.
The error and failure messages can be classified as follows:
Errors detected by the SMART MATRIX power-on self-diagnostics

POSSIBILE SOLUTION
Press RESET to clear the alarm. All the
EEPROM configuration parameters will be reset
to default values.
Press RESET to clear the alarm. All the RAM
configuration parameters will be reset to default
values
Replace the SMART MATRIX QUILT terminal
POSSIBILE SOLUTION
Press Reset to clear the error.
Press Reset to clear the error. Then re-program
ID code and Baudrate on SM-DIN module.
Press Reset to clear the error. If the error
occurred after a style loading, then re-load the
style.
Replace the SM-DIN XX Board
Confirm ID code and Baudrate on SM-DIN
module, or check connection cables.
Confirm the connection of external input signals.
Increase the Prescaler value for PRX signal.
