Step 6: Join Swing and Slide Wall Assemblies
Part 2
C: From inside the assembly, tight to (040) SL Wall,
halfway up the assembly attach 1 (061) Side Joist
to (041) Back Narrow Panel and (052) Back Wall
Panel with 2 (H11) 1/4 x 2-3/4" Hex Bolts (with lock
washer, flat washer and t-nut). Bolts are installed
from outside the assembly. Make sure (061) Side
Joist is level then attach with 4 (S3) #8 x 2-1/2"
Wood Screws. (fig. 6.3 and 6.4)
D: Tight to (061) Side Joist attach (062) Short Side
Joist to (052) Back Wall Panel with 1 (H11) 1/4 x
2-3/4" Hex Bolt (with lock washer, flat washer and
t-nut). Bolt is installed from outside the assembly.
Make sure (062) Short Side Joist is level and flush
to the top of (061) Side Joist then attach with 2 (S3)
#8 x 2-1/2" Wood Screws. (fig. 6.3 and 6.4)
E: Repeat C and D for the Front Wall but install
the bolts on (051) Front Wall Panel from inside the
assembly. (fig. 6.3 and 6.5)
