1.3 PC 5170 Internal Overview

The PC 5170 internal components are configured in a three level format. An elevated
platform on the right side of the chassis supports a HDD, a CD drive and a FDD. On the
second level, below the elevated platform, are a motherboard and a PSU module. The
motherboard and the PSU module are installed on a metal sheet that protects the rear of
the 17" TFT LCD screen. Below the metal sheet is a circuit board that is connected to the
screen and the motherboard. The three levels of components can be seen in Figure 1-8.

1.4 PC 5170 Specifications

1.4.1 Preinstalled Hardware Components

The PC 5170 flat panel PC has the following preinstalled components:
31 1 x Motherboard
32 1 x 17" TFT LCD screen
33 1 x Power supply
