The symbol indicates the extender that is recognized and defined at a
certain port:
Symbol
Red framed ports are defined as "fixed" (e. g. for USB 2.0
connections).
The port with four static blue squares is currently selected.
If a port is selected, all other ports are transparent, except those
connected to the currently selected port. A selection can be cleared
by pressing the button Clear Selection.
In Matrix View, a red cross on a port indicates that the console to be
connected does not have access rights to the respecting CPU at this
port.

Description
Port connected to a CPU Unit
Port is connected to a CPU Unit that is switched to a
CON Unit in Private Mode (see Chapter 3.7.4, Page
36).
Port connected to a CON Unit
Port connected to a CON Unit with Shared Access to
a CPU.
Port is connected to a CON Unit that is connected to
a CPU Unit in Private Mode (see Chapter 3.7.4,
Page 36).
Port connected to a USB 2.0 CPU Unit
Port connected to a USB 2.0 CON Unit
Port is configured as Cascade-CON port for
cascading of matrices.
Port is configured as Cascade-CPU port for
cascading of matrices.
Port is a UNI port of an I/O board that can be used for
USB 3.0 or SDI switching.
UNI port is configured as CON port in order to
connect USB 3.0 CON extenders, for example.
UNI port is configured as CPU port in order to connect
USB 3.0 CPU extenders, for example.
