To configure the synchronization to the Active Directory server, proceed
as follows:
1.
Select Configuration > Network in the main menu of the KVM
matrix.
2.
Activate at least the function LDAP and optionally LDAP TLS/SSL.
3.
Enter the appropriate IP address and the port number in the field
LDAP Server (default port number: 389).
4.
Enter the LDAP Base DN into the appropriate field (e.g. dc=example,
dc=com).
Note: Changes done in step 2 to 4 only come into effect after a restart of
the KVM matrix.
5.
Select Configuration > User Data in the main menu of the KVM
matrix.

6.
Press the button New LU to create a new LDAP user. This user
functions as a bind user.
7.
Enter a name into the field name Name.
