PRODUCT INFORMATION, INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
- using a vacuum cleaner suitable for cleaning ash, remove all the
residue which has deposited on the side walls and in the upper
part of the firebox
- clean the slots (8)
- clean the parts which have been removed and then refit them
in the reverse order in which they were removed
- reposition the side and rear deflectors, making sure that they
are fixed in the slots at the bottom (6)
- reposition the upper deflector above the support pins
- reposition the grate into its original position pushing it towards
the start-up hole
- reposition the grate deflector.

A suitable ramrod may need to be used in order to re-
move any stubborn deposits.

A vacuum cleaner which is suitable for use with ash is
needed when carrying out this type of cleaning oper-
ation.

10.10 CLEANING THE SMOKE CHAMBER

Recommended cleaning frequency: refer to the section
" SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE ".
This operation facilitates an optimal heat exchange and

Proceed as follows:
- remove the ash drawer (1)
- remove the screw (2) which secures the smoke chamber cover
(3)
- replace the smoke chamber cover gaskets if needed. Contact
your local dealer or the authorized T.A.C. (authorized technical
assistance center).

- lift the element slightly and remove it by pulling it towards you
- use a vacuum cleaner to remove any ash and carbon deposits
which may have accumulated in the smoke chamber, taking

care not to damage the blades of the extractor fan
- close the smoke chamber reversing the order of operations.

A vacuum cleaner which is suitable for use with ash is
needed when carrying out this type of cleaning oper-
ation.

10.11 CLEANING THE EXTRACTOR FAN

Any dust or ash deposits on the smoke extractor fan blades may
result in the fans becoming noisy when the appliance is in opera-
tion. It must be cleaned.
