7.3 CLEANING ThE FIREbOx ANd bAFFLE PLATE

As a rough guide it is necessary to clean the top part of the firebox and
the baffle plate inside it once a month.

This type of cleaning requires a vacuum cleaner suitable for
holding ash.
Proceed as follows:
- grasp the baffle plate by the relative handle;
- lift it and then tilt the front part downwards;
- draw it out of its seat and remove it through the firebox door;

The Aluker rear panel is now free.
Take care not to let it fall.
- remove the Aluker rear panel;
- using a suitable vacuum cleaner for ash, remove all the residues
that have been deposited on the side walls and the upper area of the
firebox;
- clean the removed parts and then refit them all in the reverse order
to removal.

Incorrect refitting of the baffle plate could cause appliance
malfunction.

7.4 CLEANING ThE SMOkE ChAMbER ANd bOILER

As a rough guide it is necessary to clean the ducts for flue gas passage
and the boiler once month.
Clean flue gas ducts ensure better appliance operation.
Remove the ceramic top surround [13], as for any normal pellet loading
operation, by tilting it upwards about 10° and pulling it gently forwards.

Take care when working not to scratch the enamel or damage
the ceramic elements.
Remove the top grille [9] fitted in the upper part of the appliance. (Fig.
