5.4 Connect temperature control unit

Action
Prepare an applicable container for collection of the drained coolant. See
Section 10.1 System specifications, on page 274 for the information on the
vessel jacket volume.
Connect the drain valve (1) to the collection container as applicable.

Open the drain valve (1).
Open the vent valve (2) and collect the coolant.
When the fluid flow stops, lift up the coolant outlet tubing (RETURN) to drain
the content of the tubing into the vessel jacket.
Prepare the tubing for draining the vessel jacket bottom:
Attach a Snap-tite connector to the tubing.

Put the end of the drain tubing into the collection container.

Connect the Snap-tite connector of the drain tubing to the

coolant inlet tubing (connected to SUPPLY).

connectors.
Wait until all fluid has drained out from the mixer vessel jacket.
