Tapered roller bearing preload adjustment
(1) To adjust the preload of tapered roller
bearing, decrease or increase the thickness
of shims 7 between the gear case and oil seal
cover.
(2) Decreasing the thickness of the shims in
creases the preload of:the bearing.
