Possible Camera Occurrences

Camera Occurrences
There are several possible occurrences that can be attributed to communication failures related to
the IR camera.

Possible Causes
• Overheating
• Communication error between the Monitor
and Camera Carts
• IR light from another device causing interfer-
ence (e.g., pulse oximeter).
• Surfaces in the OR are unintentionally re-
flecting IR light (e.g., reflective strips on
clothing)
• Problem with internal cabling
• Problem with external cabling
• If using wireless: Problem with power supply
• Communication error between Monitor and
Camera Carts: Check cabling/wireless con-
nection
• IR light from another device causing interfer-
ence (e.g., pulse oximeter).
• Surfaces in the OR are unintentionally re-
flecting IR light (e.g., reflective strips on
clothing)
• Motor on/off switch is turned off: Turn switch
ON
• Communication error: Check cabling/ wire-
less connection
• If green camera status LED is off, communi-
cation is not possible: Reboot device
