The smaller size tips are ideal for molar scanning. The landscape and
portrait tips are compatible with Planmeca PlanCAD software revision
5.5 and later.
The live view shows the differences in the scanning tips.
The standard tip (on the left) has a higher focal point and captures more
data at once. This can be a problem with active tongues. The landscape
tip (in the middle) has a horizontal field of view and the portrait tip (on the
right) a vertical field of view .
The colour scanning tips are marked with the colour symbol.
For colour scanning you need a colour activation kit. For upgrade details
contact your local representative.
The Planmeca PlanScan scanner comes with a removable tip.
