Position the handlebar, mount and tighten screws

Check the steering head bearing play. (

Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. (

Remove the lower triple clamp.
–
Install the lower triple clamp.
Info
The steering head bearing is cleaned and lubricated in the
course of removal and installation of the lower triple clamp.

Remove cable tie(s)
–
Remove the headlight mask towards the front and hang it carefully
to the side.
Info
Cover the components to protect them against damage.
Do not kink the cables and lines.
