Loosen screws .

Loosen and retighten screw

Using a plastic hammer, tap lightly on the upper triple clamp to
avoid stresses.

Mount and tighten screw

Tighten screws .

Check the steering head bearing play. (
Finishing work
–
Mount the handlebar cushion.
–
Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. (
–
Remove the lower triple clamp.
–
Install the lower triple clamp.
Info
The steering head bearing is cleaned and lubricated in the
course of removal and installation of the lower triple clamp.

Remove screw .
–
Unhook the start number plate from the brake line and remove it.
