Installing the air filter

Cleaning the air filter and air filter box

Note
Environmental hazard Hazardous substances cause environmental damage.

Dispose of oils, grease, filters, fuel, cleaning agents, brake fluid, etc., correctly and in compliance with the appli-
cable regulations.
Info
Do not clean the air filter with fuel or petroleum since these substances attack the foam.

Remove screw

Remove air filter with air filter support from the air filter box.
–
Remove air filter from air filter support.

Main work
–
Mount the clean air filter on the air filter support.

Position the air filter, mount screw
Info
If the air filter is not mounted correctly, dust and dirt may
enter the engine and result in damage.

Position the air filter cover in the air filter box; mount screw
and tighten.
