Danger of accidents Oil or grease on the brake discs reduces the braking effect.

Always keep the brake discs free of oil and grease.

Clean the brake discs with brake cleaner when necessary.

Remove screws

Position the brake disc guard at the front.

Mount and tighten screws

Preparatory work
–
Remove front brake disc guard.
Main work
–
Press back the brake linings by slightly tilting the brake caliper later-
ally on the brake disc.
–
Pull the brake caliper carefully up from the brake disc and hang to
the side.

Cover the components to protect them against damage.

and take off the brake disc guard to the rear.
