Remote Alarm Port:
Also known as the Nurse's Call port, it
provides for remote alerts of ventilator
alarm conditions.
An example of a setting that requires such
a feature is when the ventilator is used in
an isolation room.
The ventilator signals an alarm using a
normally open (NO) or a normally closed
(NC) signal.
A remote alarm is activated when an alarm
condition occurs, unless either of the
following is true:
Audio paused function is active
Ventilator power switch is turned off
The remote alarm port is an 8-pin female
connector. Allowable current is 100 mA at
24 VDC (maximum).
