GCX Mounting Solutions
The following describes the options available to mount the INVOS 5100C to anesthesia
machines, perfusion pumps and portable stands using a GCX Mounting System.
GCX Mounting System options available from Covidien:
• INVOS 5100C Adapter Plate (Covidien P/N 5100C-GCX)
The Adapter Plate consists of a 4.80" x 5.0" steel adapter plate. The Adapter Plate is
for use with GCX Mounting Systems accommodating a bottom mounted device and
slide-in mounting plate.
• INVOS 5100C Swivel Arm (Covidien P/N 5100C-SA)
The Swivel Arm consists of a GCX M-Series 8 Inch Articulating Arm with Slide-in
Mounting Plate, V-Block Mounting System with Socket Head Cap Screws (SHCS),
Hex Key and INVOS 5100C Adapter Plate. The Swivel Arm is for use to pole mount
(up to 2 inch diameter) instruments up to 25 lbs. (11.3 kg).
Adapter Plate Assembly Instructions
Tools required: Medium Phillips Screwdriver
1. Place the INVOS monitor on a clean padded surface with the display face down.
2. Remove all four screws (#8-32x1/2", SS, CSHCS, Phillips, Flat Head, Nylok) from the
INVOS monitor's round base plate.
3. Remove the round base plate from the mounting cylinder.
4. Secure the Adapter Plate to the mounting cylinder using the same four screws
(#8-32x1/2", SS, CSHCS, Phillips, Flat Head, Nylok). Be careful not to overtighten the
screws.
