Verify that the valance is in the correct orientation (see awning instructions found in
the Owner's Information Package). Allowing the valance to remain in a hyper extend-
ed orientation may create a pooling water, especially in larger (17'-21') awnings.

Adjusting the awning
The Longitude arms have 6 pitch adjustment settings. The awning can be extended and
retracted in any of these positions without having to reset the pitch between uses. See the
NOTICES in the Carefree of Colorado awning manual about unequal pitch settings.
