To check if noise or flicker exists on the projected screen, connect a PC to the projector.
Warning! If not avoided, the following could result in death or serious injury.
• Do not stare into beam when the projector is on. The bright light may result in permanent eye
damage.
When performing a functional test, to optimize the image before testing, adjust the zoom and focus.

Adjusting the frequency and tracking boundary
If the projected image appears with noise or flicker, adjust the frequency and tracking boundary.

Criteria
To perform the frequency and tracking boundary adjustment, complete the steps below.
1. If the image is not sharp, re-adjust using the following steps:
a. Select Menu > Size & Position > Size Presets > Full Size.
b. Select Menu > Size & Position > Pixel Phase.
c. Adjust the slider by arrow keys or press ENTER to input the values of pixel phase.
2. Select Menu > Size & Position > Horz Position or Vert Position.
3. Adjust the slider by arrow keys or press ENTER to input the values of moving pixels.
4. After inputting the value, press ENTER to apply.
Adjusting color performance
Use the HDTV (408p, 720p, 1080p) source to complete the test. The color does not turn purple and
blue.
