9.5.4.2 To replace the hydrostatic transmission cable
1. Remove the frame tunnel cover. Refer to
the frame tunnel cover on page 20 .
2. Remove the steering column cover. Refer to
remove and install the steering column cover on
page 19 .
3. Loosen the locknut on the front end of the
hydrostatic transmission cable.
4. Remove the clamp on the front end of the
hydrostatic transmission cable.

5. Cut the cable tie behind the left front wheel.

6. Loosen the locknut (A) and remove the locking
spring (B). Loosen the clamp (C) on the rear end of
the hydrostatic transmission cable.
7. Remove the front ball joint from the hydrostatic
transmission cable.
