13. Loosen the articulated steering shaft with an M8
slide hammer.
14. Move the front and rear carriages apart.
15. Assemble in the opposite sequence.
16. Do a check of the tension of the steering cable.
To examine and adjust the steering cables

17. Do a function test of the product to make sure that
the articulated steering operates correctly.

9.1.5.2 To replace the articulated steering bearing
1. Disassemble the articulated steering joint. Refer to
To disassemble and assemble the articulated
steering joint on page 24 .
2. Remove the bearings with a mandrel. Tap the
bottom bearing from above and tap the top bearing
from below.
3. Tap the new bearings into the correct position.
9.1.5.3 To disassemble the pivoting rear axle
1. Disassemble the articulated steering joint. Refer to
To disassemble and assemble the articulated
steering joint on page 24 .
2. Remove all the cables between the front and the
rear carriage.
3. Remove the screw on the pivoting rear axle.
