• Remove the sealing plug: Push one of the three sealing plugs
out of the housing by pushing it from the inside.
• Prepare MxBus cable: Strip 5 mm (1/5 in) of insulation
from the wire ends of the MxBus cable. Then push
each wire into one of the holes in the single wire plug
(this prevents humidity from entering the camera).
• Insert single-wire plug with MxBus cable: Push the single-wire
plug with the MxBus wires from the rear into the housing (make
sure that the plug is seated properly).
• Insert MxBus connector: Push the MxBus connector into the
receptacle on the mainboard (red arrow in figure).
• Connect MxBus cable: Use one single-wire connector to join
one wire color of the MxBus cable and repeat for the other color.
Store the connectors within the camera housing so that they do
not obstruct the main board when adjusting the camera image.
Remove the camera dome: Take the delivered plastic foil or a

cotton cloth, insert the dome into its seat and turn it in clock-
wise direction.
• Attach the outer shell: Place the outer shell onto the camera and
tighten all four Allen screws using the supplied Allen wrench.
Make sure that the rubber seal is seated properly.
