10.5.1 Appearance and functions

Appearance
The OPCOM3500E-8FX is an 8-way optical interface Ethernet access card on the
iTN2100.

10.5.2 Slots

The OPCOM3500E-8FX can be plugged into slots 1–5 and 10–12 on the iTN2100.
Provide eight ways of 100 Mbit/s SFP Ethernet optical interfaces.
Aggregate Ethernet services received from the front panel to the switching card through
the backplane, and transmit services uplink through the switching card.
Support cooperating with dual-switching card protection.
Support storm control over broadcast messages, unknown multicast messages, and DLF
messages.
Support interface isolation protection.
Support interface aggregation.
Support QoS and determine four output queues by priority.
Support 802.1Q VLAN and 4K concurrent VLANs.
Support QinQ.
Support 8K MAC addresses and 64 static MAC addresses.
Support enabling or disabling MAC address learning based on slots.
Support a maximum frame length of 1632 Bytes.
Support configurable aging time ranging from 0s to 3825s.
Support interface-based non-linear rate limiting ranging from 62 Kbit/s to 100 Mbit/s.
Support transparently transmitting BPDU, LACP, and 802.1x management frames.
Support NMS for remote transceivers.
