Chapter 2 Specification and Dimension 2.1 Device hardware description ISCOM2828F Ethernet Switch is a layer-2 Ethernet switch designed for network users’ access to the carriers’ network. ISCOM2828F provides 24 100BASE-FX Ethernet interfaces in the form of SFP, 2 1000BASE-X Ethernet interface in the form of SFP and 2 1000BASE-T Ethernet interface in the form of RJ-45. -

User Manual 3.2 Device rear panel description ISCOM2852 can provide a socket for 220V AC power supply or a socket for -48V DC power supply on its rear panel (see the figure below). Users can choose either of them according to need. -

4.1 Device model The device models currently provided are: Product Model Description ISCOM2828F/AC All-optical layer-2 switch with 24 100M SFP optical interfaces and 4 1000M uplink interfaces, adopting 220V AC power supply. ISCOM2828F/DC All-optical layer-2 switch with 24 100M SFP optical interfaces and 4 1000M uplink interfaces, adopting -48V DC power supply. -

4.2 Device installation 4.2.1 Environment requirement There are heat exhaust outlets on both sides of ISCOM2828F switch. Please leave space on both sides of the switch to keep air flow unblocked.
