All profiled linear guideways in the MONORAIL MR, BM, and AMS product groups
consist of up to four logical sub-assemblies.

The pre-assemblies are each subject to technical modifications that lead to new
construction statuses. This means that the internal construction of the sub-assemblies
may vary with respect to technology, materials used, number, and interaction of the
constituent parts.
SCHNEEBERGER undertakes, following the delivery of MONORAIL systems, to make
compatible sub-assemblies and therefore also compatible complete systems available
that can be used in sub-assembly replacement. This enables full field service capability
to be maintained for all products without sacrificing improveability. Parts from these
sub-assemblies are only maintained and offered prior to the introduction of the new
sub-assembly and delivered up to a limit of 1 year following its introduction. This
means conversely that sub-assemblies replaced by new construction statuses are
discontinued 1 year before expiry.
For sub-assemblies as a whole, SCHNEEBERGER offers compatible sub-assemblies
which are identically designed with respect to the mechanical geometry of the guideway,
collision cross sections, and connection dimensions for a period of 10 years following
discontinuation of the product on the market. Any exceptions are communicated
separately.
