5.12.1 Cables and Wiring
9 Make the following wiring connections to the Isolated
RS485 Interface PCB:
i Ribbon cable at socket SK2 from the Base PCB
socket SK12 or SK13.
ii Cable at socket SK1 from the next station on the
network (as applicable).
Note: Refer to Section 7, VDU for details of the Isolated
RS485 Interface PCB socket SK2 pin functions.

5.13 Label Inserts

Four label inserts are supplied in the Jiffy bag that
contains the manuals. These inserts must be slid into
the appropriate slots in the panel as follows:
1 Slide the lower right insert into the slot behind the
Display PCB (you must open the panel to gain access
to this slot). Make sure that the insert is the correct
way up and that the text is facing forwards, i.e. away
from you in this case. Close the panel.
Note: This insert includes the PRE-ALARM LED text
through to the text that gives a description of the
panel.
2 Slide the buttons insert into the slot beside the
pushbuttons. Make sure that the text is the correct
way up and that it is facing forwards.
Note: This insert includes the MUTE BUZZER pushbutton
text through to the RESET pushbutton text.
3 Slide the lower left insert into the slot beside the
zones 1-16 LEDs. Make sure that the text is the
correct way up and that it is facing forwards.
Note: This insert includes the FIRE LED text through to
the POWER LED text.
4 For 80-zone installations only, slide the extension
insert into the slot above and to the left of the zones
17 to 80 LEDs. Make sure that the text is the correct
way up and that it is facing forwards.
Note: This insert contains four sets of ZONE FIRE and
ZONE FAULT/DISABLE/TEST text.
