Connect to MCU

If Windows 7™ is installed on the workstation, Protected Mode must be disabled before connecting to the MCU
running Version 7.0 software. For more information, see
To connect to MCU:
1 Start the RMX Web Client application on the workstation.
a In the browser address bar, enter the IP address of the Control Unit IP Address in the format:
http://<Control Unit IP Address>,
b Press Enter on the Keyboard.
2 In the RMX Web Client Login window, enter the default account information as below, and click
Login.
 Username: POLYCOM
 Password: POLYCOM
The RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 1500/1800/2000/4000 is shipped with a default
Administrator user called POLYCOM. Once you have defined other authorized administrator users,
it is recommended to add a new administrator User and then remove the default User to prevent
unauthorized users from logging into the system.
