Parameter Settings

The EX600 has parameter settings for the system, unit and each unit's channel, which can be set through
PLC or hand-held terminal. There are no priorities in setting the parameters. The unit will use the most
recent setting, see note.
The following notes apply to parameter settings, which can be changed from both the PLC and the
hand-held terminal.
If a parameter is changed using the HT, the PLC parameter settings will not be changed. This means that, if
a parameter is changed by the HT when the PROFIBUS communication is disconnected and reconnected
the parameter settings will revert to the settings saved in the PLC.
When setting parameters that can be set from either the PLC or the HT, it is recommended that the setting
be made from the PLC.
