6.2.9 Shortening the tube adapter

CAUTION
Incorrect processing of tube
Fall due to damage to the tube
Do not clamp the tube into a vice.
To shorten the tube, use only a tube cutter or a cutting device.
INFORMATION: The overall system height of all prosthetic components corresponds to the sock­
et-floor measurement (see Fig. 
► Shorten and deburr the tube adapter.

6.2.10 Mounting the lock slide and lock release cable

CAUTION
Incorrect installation of the lock release cable
Risk of falling due to malfunction of the lock
Observe the following instructions for installing the lock release cable.
After installation, check whether the lock release cable has been installed in accordance
with all instructions.
Verify the safe functioning of the lock release cable and the lock (unlocking/locking).
► CAUTION! Use the lock slide only as shown in Fig.

► Do not break out the nose in the lock slide because the locking position of the lock slide is not
allowed to be used.
► To avoid malfunctions, set the length of the lock release cable so that it is not under tension
when the lock slide is in the rest position. Reliable unlocking when operating the lock slide is
essential.
