9.2 General information on commissioning
Note
Combined operation with ULTRAMAT 7: Signal frequency of the OXYMAT 7
If you use an OXYMAT 7 and an ULTRAMAT 7 analyzer module in combined operation, the
default OXYMAT 7 signal frequency can have a negative influence on the ULTRAMAT 7
analyzer module.
• Check the set signal frequency of the OXYMAT 7 analyzer module.
• If the nominal frequency 8.33 Hz is still set, change the signal frequency to 10 Hz.
You can find additional information in the bibliography in:
• Table References 1 - Operating Manuals LUI (Page 159)
• Table References 2 - Operating Manuals PDM (Page 159)
Note
OXYMAT 7 pressure correction
The OXYMAT 7 analyzer modules have an internal pressure sensor for correcting the effect
of pressure on the measured value.
In the case of OXYMAT 7 the pressure sensor is connected with the sample gas path and
therefore always measures the current sample gas pressure.
Note
ULTRAMAT 7 pressure correction
If you are using the internal atmospheric pressure sensor, make sure that the pressure drop
caused by the piping system at the sample gas outlet does not exceed 10 hPa (large line
diameter, short line length). In analyzer cabinets and analyzer enclosure, you can connect
the pressure transducer to the atmosphere in order to record only the atmospheric pressure
change.
Note
CALOMAT 7 pressure correction
With CALOMAT 7, you can implement required pressure correction using an external
pressure sensor.
Note
Using an external pressure sensor
An external pressure sensor can process ambient or sample gas pressure values up to 3 bar
(abs.), regardless of the application.
You can obtain additional information on the use of external pressure sensors from your
service partner: → Technical support (Page 175).
