Print a full-page, half-tone A3 sheet for each of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, and
then measure by a ruler, etc., the intervals between the spots affected by density
fluctuation.

Perform the following solution. If the applicable interval is not listed, contact your service
representative.

If the problem persists or the applicable interval is not listed, contact the service
representative.
• Do not use ethanol or any other organic solvent to clean the charge roller. Otherwise it may cause
damage to the charge roller.
• After performing the solution, it is recommended to perform the color calibration of the external
controller.

Solution
1. Clean the charge roller.
2. In the [Machine: Maintenance]
group on the [Adjustment Settings for
Operators] menu, execute 0501:
[Execute Process Adjustment].
3. In the [Machine: Image Quality]
group on the [Adjustment Settings for
Operators] menu, select 0201:
[Execute Image Quality Adjustment]
and execute [Adjust Image Density].
In the [Machine: Image Quality] group on
the [Adjustment Settings for Operators]
menu, select 0201: [Execute Image
Quality Adjustment] and execute [Adjust
Image Density].
