3. Loosen the screws attaching the motor. Disconnect the cable from the motherboard.
4. Swap out the motor and attach the new one using the screws.
5. Attach the rubber band to the motor shaft. Connect the cable.
6. Reassemble the cash register.

2.1.2.8. Replacing the reserve battery

1. Remove the motherboard as directed in the subsection „Replacing the motherboard".
2. Desolder GB1 and put the new one in its place. Check the voltage prior to attaching it. The Li battery must be V(-
GB1)>3.0V.
3. Before screwing the casing back on, switch the cash register on and off. - Afterwards, measure the consumption from
the reserve battery - measure the consumption as a decrease of voltage at resistor R109(1K), measure at measuring
points marked Iram. This decrease should be lower than 1.5mV, maximally 3.5mV.
4. Complete cash register reassembly.
Note:
When changing the reserve Li battery, data stored in the RAM will be lost and the cash register will have to be initialized again.

2.1.2.9. Replacing the cashier display

1. Disassemble the cash register as directed in the previous chapter.
2. Remove the motherboard and the printer.
3. Detach the display pad from the display.
