iDesign

Load print image

The print image in the print memory is printed by the Markoprint XB4JET/XB8JET
controller after each light barrier impulse on the product surface.
A print image can be loaded into the memory of the Markoprint XB4JET/XB8JET
controller with the iDesign software via USB stick.
The PC software iDesign is included in delivery as installation DVD to create print
layouts and texts.
On the iDesign DVD is an extra instruction how the software is to handle.

Installation

Double click the setup.exe file on the DVD.
The software will be installed to the folder C:\User\Official\iDesign.
To start iDesign click on the iDesign desktop button.

Connection to the system

Standard by USB or Ethernet
The connection is also possible by RS232.

Parameter, Preparation

In iDesign below Connections
with OK, or click on Search on Com Ports. A system which is connected with the USB
slot will be identified automatically.

Ethernet Connection establishing

To establish an Ethernet connection to the printer you have to know a free Ethernet
address.
Please ask your systemadministrator.

click on Add system, adjust the IP address and confirm
Procedure
Connect a USB stick to the X1JET and wait that the status LED stops
blinking.
Connect the USB stick to a PC with iDesign software. The system will be
shown in iDesign.
Click in iDesign with the mouse on the system icon and enter the requested
IP address under Functions / Settings / System / IP address.
Confirm the IP address and add the connection to iDesign.
Now connect the USB stick again to the X1JET.
The X1JET should now be visible under the desired IP address.
