Installation and initial operation

XB8JET setup

Instruction
1. Connect the XB8JET to only power. Not to Ethernet.
2. Switch the system on and wait that it is started up complete. About 30 seconds
3. Take an empty USB stick and connect to USB A head 1-4. Wait that the status LED
stops blinking.
4. Start iDesign and activate the stitch function under Tools / General settings.
5. Connect the USB to your computer. You should see one XB4JET. This is unit head
1 to 4.
6. Change the IP Address to a free address of your network. Settings / System / IP
address. Ask the IT for two free IP addresses. Your computer nust be connected to
the same network.
7. If you want to connect the system direct to a computer you need a fixed IP address
in your network settings of the computer and two free IP addresses of this IP range.
Add the connection and enter a printer name "XB8JET".
