The keyboard of the '14 Analogsynthesizer can be decoupled from the internal sound engine. This
way, the sound engine can receive MIDI notes from a sequencer, while the keyboard is being used as
a MIDI-controller-keyboard to control external other sound engines. To decouple the sound engine
from the keyboard, you need to activate EDIT PARAMETER [6] LOCAL OFF MODE. Carry out the
following steps to do so:
1.
Make sure, the '14 Analogsynthesizer is in standard play-mode (ARPEGGIATOR switch
set to OFF).
Enter the edit mode by pressing the [EDIT] button – the corresponding LED will be lit.
2.
Use the select dial to select the EDIT parameter [6] LOCAL OFF MODE.
3.
Pressing the VALUE button activates or deactivates local-off-mode (activated if VALUE LED
4.
lit, deactivated if VALUE LED unlit).
Exit EDIT mode by pressing the [EDIT] button again.

Although the '14  Analogsynthesizer is a monophonic instrument, its keyboard
sends out polyphonic MIDI-data. This way, the '14 Analogsynthesizer can be used
as a controller-keyboard for polyphonic sound generators.
Velocity, aftertouch, both wheels and the sustain-pedal are being sent out as MIDI-data, too.
