ALTERNATE

ALTERNATE plays even and odd note pairs. Even and odd refer to the positions in the sequence
order. A pattern can be played back upwards, starting at the lowest note, or downwards, starting
with the highest note. For the ALTERNATE patterns to function, they will need to contain at least
four notes. The two ALTERNATE pattern-types are selected by positions 13 and 14 of the select dial:
13. ALTERNATE UP
14. ALTERNATE DOWN
Sounds complicated? Here's an example: Holding the keys C-E-G-B will lead to the following
playback:
-
ALTERNATE UP: C-G-E-B (1st position - 3rd position - 2nd position - 4th position)
-
ALTERNATE DOWN: B-E-G-C (4th position - 2nd position - 3rd position - 1st position)
Try it out yourself!

ORDER

ORDER means that the notes are played back in the sequence they had been played on the keyboard.
The order can also be reversed. The two ORDER pattern-types are selected by positions 15 and 16
of the select dial:
15. ORDER FORWARD
16. ORDER BACKWARD
