Arpeggio speed

The button TEMPO SRC sets the source for the arpeggiator's speed. Available choices are the LFO,
the internal clock or an external MIDI-clock. The selected source is indicated by the TEMPO SRC
LED.
With the LED being lit permanently, the arpeggiator's speed depends on the LFO's speed and is set
by its FREQUENCY control.
With the LED blinking, either the internal clock reference or an external MIDI-clock is selected,
depending on the state of EDIT Parameter [3] INTERNAL CLOCK. By pressing TEMPO SRC
multiple times, you can toggle between three clock divisions:
1.
1/4 notes
2.
1/8 notes
3.
1/16 notes
A
The arpeggiator will pause if the '14 Analogsynthesizer has been set to receive
an external MIDI-Clock and no clock-signal is being send from the MIDI-clock-
source. To display the clock division currently selected, the LEDs blinks repeatedly
once, twice or three times in unrelated speed to the clock (see "Activating MIDI-
clock" on page 71).

Note length

The length of the notes being played by the arpeggiator is adjusted by the GATE LENGTH button,
located to the right of the select dial. By pressing the button multiple times, the different options
are selected in a cyclic sequence. The corresponding yellow LED visualizes the note length by the
duration it is lit.
1.
20 percent (default value when turning on the '14 Analogsynthesizer)
2.
50 percent
3.
80 percent
4.
100 percent (legato)
5.
a randomized value between 20 percent and 80 percent per note
6.
a randomized value between 20 percent and 100 percent (legato) per note
H
A note length of 100% (4th and 6th) affects envelope generators EG 1 and EG 2 as
well as glide, if the LEGATO switch has been enabled. Depending on the setting of
the envelope generators and glide, this may result in interesting sound variations.
