W arning!
W hen closing the w indow s, be
sure that there is no dan g er of
anyone being harm ed by the
closing procedure.
In case of o bstruction, the
autom atic reversal will not
operate if a w indow is being
closed by pressing the switch
to its resistance point and
holding it there, or w hen using
a m echanical key or the rem ote
control.
The closing procedure can be
im m ediately reversed by either
pressing the sw itch E U . turn ­
ing the m echanical key to the
unlocking position, or pressing
button E 9 , and holding it.
Note:
The pow er w indow s can also be
closed with the m echanical key or
infrared rem ote control while
locking the vehicle doors or trunk
(see C entral Locking System in
Index).
W arning!
W hen leaving the vehicle,
alw ays rem ove the electronic
key from the steering lock, and
lock the vehicle. Do not leave
children unattended in the
vehicle, or with access to an
unlocked vehicle. U nsuper­
vised use of vehicle equipm ent
can cause serious personal
injury.
S ynchronizing Pow er W indow s
If the pow er supply was interrupted
(battery disconnected or empty),
the w indow s cannot be opened or
closed by the Express feature.
To resynchronize the Express
feature, press B e side of power
w indow sw itch until the w indow is
com pletely closed and hold for
additional 2 seconds. Repeat
procedure for each window.
The autom atic full opening and
closing procedure of the w indow s
should now be restored.
