W hen exiting the vehicle after
driving with the exterior lamps
on, they switch on again for added
illumination for approxim ately
30 seconds after closing the last
door. The lam p-on tim e period can
be changed at yo ur M ercedes-
Benz dealer.
Inside Rear View Mirror
M anually adjust the mirror.
Use your inside m irror to determ ine
the size and distance of objects
seen in the passenger side convex
mirror.
A ntiglare N ight Position
W ith the electronic key in steering
lock position 2, the m irror reflection
brightness responds to changes in
light sensitivity.
W ith gear selector lever in position
"R" , or with the interior lamp
sw itched on, the m irror brightness
does not respond to changes in
light sensitivity.
Note:
The autom atic antiglare function is
restricted, if incom ing light is not
aim ed directly at sensors in the
mirror.
