Autom atic C lim ate C ontrol
The system is alw ays at o peration­
al readiness, except when m anual­
ly sw itched off.
The autom atic clim ate control only
operates with the engine running.

The tem perature selector should
be left at the desired tem perature
setting. The tem perature selected
is reached as quickly as possible.
The system will not heat or cool
any quicker by setting a higher or
lower tem perature.
1 Air volum e control
for center air outlet,
turn wheel up to open

To open air outlet:
Turn wheel to position

The autom atic clim ate control
rem oves considerable m oisture
from the air during operation in the
cooling mode. It is norm al fo r w ater
to drip on the ground through ducts
in the underbody.

This vehicle is equipped with an
air conditioner system that uses
R -134a (HFC: ozone-friendly
hydrofluorocarbon) as a refrigerant.
Repairs should alw ays be per­
form ed by a qualified technician,
and refrigerant should be collected
in a recovery system for recycling.
