Turn electronic key in steering lock
to position 2 and w ait until the
e i
sym bols and appear.
W ithin 1 second press button 0
twice.

"- 1 .0 Q" (Canada: -1 .0 L)
"- 1 .5 Q" (Canada: -1 .5 L)
"-2 .0 Q" (Canada: -2 .0 L)
Add oil to upper (max) mark of the
dipstick.

Do not overfill the eng in e .
Excessive oil m ust be drained or
siphoned. It could cause dam age
to engine and catalytic converter
not covered by the M ercedes-Benz
Limited W arranty.
The sym bol E 9 flashes in the
odom eter field if a proper oil level
check ca nn ot be perform ed.
The oil level check can be
repeated after a short while.
Perform the oil level check with the
dipstick, if it cannot be com pleted
via the odom eter display field.

system checked at a M ercedes-
Benz dealer.
A utom atic Transm ission Fluid
Level
The transm ission has a perm anent
fill of autom atic transm ission fluid.
Regular autom atic transm ission
fluid level checks and changes are
not required. For this reason the
dipstick is om itted.
If you notice fluid leaks or gear
shifting m alfunctions, have your
authorized M ercedes-Benz dealer
check the transm ission fluid level.
