W indshield W asher Fluid Mixing
Ratio
For tem peratures above freezing:
MB W indshield W asher
C oncentrate "S" and w ater
1 part "S" to 100 parts w ater
(40 ml "S" to 1 gallon water).
For tem perature below freezing:
MB W indshield W asher C oncen­
trate "S" and com m ercially
available prem ixed w indshield
w asher solvent/antifreeze
1 part "S" to 100 parts solvent
(40 ml "S" to 1 gallon solvent).
W indshield W iper Sm ears
If the windshield w iper sm ears the
w indshield, even during rain,
activate the w asher system as
often as necessary. The fluid in the
w asher reservoir should be mixed
in the correct ratio.
Blocked W indshield W iper
If the w indshield w iper becom es
blocked (for exam ple, due to
snow), switch off the wiper.
For safety reasons before re­
moving ice or snow, rem ove key
from steering lock. Remove
blockage.
Activate com bination switch again
(electronic key in steering lock
position 1).
Turn Signal Failure
If one of the turn signals fails, the
turn signal indicator system flashes
and sounds at a faster than normal
rate.
