3. Analogue input module CPX-4AE-U-I
Module parameters: Monitoring the CPX module, parameterisation error
Function no.
4828 + m * 64 + 0
Description
With the analogue input modules, monitoring of individual errors can be activ-
ated or deactivated (suppressed) independently of each other. Active monitoring
causes the following. The error is:
– sent to the CPX Fieldbus node
– displayed by the module common error LED.
Bit
Bit 0:
Bit 1 ... 6: Reserved
Bit 7:
Values
1 = active (presetting); 0 = inactive

Description of the parameters
Monitoring short circuit/overload in the sensor supply
Monitoring parameterisation errors
Monitoring can also be set for the complete CPX terminal (see CPX system
manual, system parameter "Monitoring").
Some parameters are checked for impermissible values during
parameterisation:
Module parameters:
– Hysteresis < 0 is not permissible
Channel parameters:
– Signal range (sensor type)
– The following is not permissible: Lower limit value > upper limit value
The setting of the module parameter "Monitoring parameterisation errors" is
only effective for channel-specific parameterisation if the corresponding
channel parameter "Monitoring parameterisation errors" is set to "active".
m = module number (0 ... 47)
