3. Analogue input module CPX-4AE-U-I
Error no.
Description
10
Value exceeding nominal range
Upper limit exceeded.
(see parameter "Upper limit channel x
– low byte/high byte" or "Monitoring
channel x – monitoring value exceed-
ing nominal range")
15
Module/channel failed
General error, module faulty. Evalu-
ation of the analogue input signals has
stopped.
29
Error during parameterisation
An error has occurred in the setting of
the relevant parameter.
– Sensor type parameter
(value 7FFF
– Scaling end values for "linear
scaled" invalid
(value 7FFF
– Parameter for lower limit value
> upper limit value
– Parameter for hysteresis < 0
(see parameter "Monitoring the CPX
module – parameterisation errors" or
"Monitoring channel x – monitoring
parameterisation errors")
Input overload
59
Over/underrun
60
The measured analogue value lies out-
side the measuring range or the
presentable value range (see
Tab. 3/18 ... Tab. 3/21).
1)
The module will register the appropriate error depending on the parameterisation. The analogue
input signals will, however, be processed further.
2)
Diagnosis is issued with the first recorded input value and is
maintained for at least 200 ms until valid input values are recorded.

Error handling
Check signal range of input.
Check input signal present.
Check parameterised limit value.
If necessary, deactivate monitoring.
Power Off/On necessary
If this error occurs again: check and, if
necessary, replace the analogue input
module.
Check the parameterisation process
implemented and, if necessary,
implement it again with the correct
parameters (for valid parameters see
section 3.4.4).
The parameters entered are ignored, the
module operates with the last valid para-
meters.
Check signal range of input
Check input signal present
Check wiring of input
