A mixture of CP modules with and without extended functions
is also possible. However, the following limitations then
apply:
Only one input module without extended functions is then
possible per CP string (at the end of the CP string).
Only one CP valve terminal or an output module without
extended functions is then permitted per CP string (any
position on the CP string).
Unused" locations on the CP string can be filled up"
with CP modules with extended functions (max. 4 mod
ules).

Please note
Irrespective of the type of CP modules (with or without
extended functions), not more than 32 inputs and 32 out
puts may be connected (sum of all 4 CP modules on a
CP string).
