Troubleshooting
ALARM 50, AMA calibration failed
Contact your Danfoss supplier or Danfoss Service
Department.
ALARM 51, AMA check U
and I
nom
The settings for motor voltage, motor current and motor
power are wrong. Check the settings in parameters 1-20 to
1-25.
ALARM 52, AMA low I
nom
The motor current is too low. Check the settings.
ALARM 53, AMA motor too big
The motor is too big for the AMA to operate.
ALARM 54, AMA motor too small
The motor is too small for the AMA to operate.
ALARM 55, AMA Parameter out of range
The parameter values of the motor are outside of the
acceptable range. AMA will not run.
ALARM 56, AMA interrupted by user
The user has interrupted the AMA.
ALARM 57, AMA internal fault
Try to restart AMA again. Repeated restarts can over heat
the motor.
ALARM 58, AMA internal fault
Contact your Danfoss supplier.
WARNING 59, Current limit
The current is higher than the value in 4-18 Current Limit.
Ensure that Motor data in parameters 1-20 to 1-25 are set
correctly. Possibly increase the current limit. Be sure that
the system can operate safely at a higher limit.
WARNING 60, External interlock
A digital input signal is indicating a fault condition external
to the frequency converter. An external interlock has
commanded the frequency converter to trip. Clear the
external fault condition. To resume normal operation,
apply 24 V DC to the terminal programmed for external
interlock. Reset the frequency converter.
WARNING/ALARM 61, Feedback error
An error between calculated speed and speed
measurement from feedback device. The function Warning/
Alarm/Disabling setting is in 4-30 Motor Feedback Loss
Function. Accepted error setting in 4-31 Motor Feedback
Speed Error and the allowed time the error occur setting in
4-32 Motor Feedback Loss Timeout. During a commissioning
procedure the function may be effective.
WARNING 62, Output frequency at maximum limit
The output frequency has reached the value set in
4-19 Max Output Frequency. Check the application to
determine the cause. Possibly increase the output
frequency limit. Be sure the system can operate safely at a
higher output frequency. The warning will clear when the
output drops below the maximum limit.
ALARM 63, Mechanical brake low
The actual motor current has not exceeded the "release
brake" current within the "Start delay" time window.

WARNING/ALARM 65, Control card over temperature
The cutout temperature of the control card is 80 °C.
Troubleshooting
Check that the ambient operating temperature is
within limits
Check for clogged filters
Check fan operation
Check the control card
WARNING 66, Heatsink temperature low
The frequency converter is too cold to operate. This
warning is based on the temperature sensor in the IGBT
module.
Increase the ambient temperature of the unit. Also, a
trickle amount of current can be supplied to the frequency
converter whenever the motor is stopped by setting
2-00 DC Hold/Preheat Current at 5% and 1-80 Function at
Stop
ALARM 67, Option module configuration has changed
One or more options have either been added or removed
since the last power-down. Check that the configuration
change is intentional and reset the unit.
ALARM 68, Safe Stop activated
Loss of the 24 V DC signal on terminal 37 has caused the
filter to trip. To resume normal operation, apply 24 V DC to
terminal 37 and reset the filter.
ALARM 69, Power card temperature
The temperature sensor on the power card is either too
hot or too cold.
Troubleshooting
Check that the ambient operating temperature is
within limits.
Check for clogged filters.
Check fan operation.
Check the power card.
ALARM 70, Illegal frequency converter configuration
The control card and power card are incompatible. Contact
your supplier with the type code of the unit from the
nameplate and the part numbers of the cards to check
compatibility.
ALARM 71, PTC 1 safe stop
Safe Stop has been activated from the MCB 112 PTC
Thermistor Card (motor too warm). Normal operation can
be resumed when the MCB 112 applies 24 V DC to T-37
again (when the motor temperature reaches an acceptable
level) and when the Digital Input from the MCB 112 is
deactivated. When that happens, a reset signal must be is
be sent (via Bus, Digital I/O, or by pressing [Reset]).
ALARM 72, Dangerous failure
Safe Stop with Trip Lock. The Dangerous Failure Alarm is
issued if the combination of safe stop commands is
unexpected. This is the case if the MCB 112 VLT PTC
Thermistor Card enables X44/10 but safe stop is somehow
